Bonded Tooth Colored Fillings
At Advanced Dental Care we believe that today, the best material for conservative dental restorations, in most cases, is “bonded dental composite.” Dental composites come in a variety of shades to closely match your natural tooth and actually strengthen your teeth. This is accomplished by the strong bonding (like “super gluing”!) at the material/tooth structure interface. An ancillary advantage is reduced thermal conductivity. These materials (and we use the world’s best available) do require a meticulous technical expertise, are very bio compatible, and contain no mercury. Many countries are now banning mercury laden silver “amalgam” materials, which we never use.
